Preseason: Week 2 Updates

Preseason Week 2

These updates are from Saturday only, I posted updates from the Thursday and Friday games in the post below this one. Top RBs appear to be in full swing after Week 2. Remember the Jets play at the Ravens on Monday,

Updates

-Ronnie Brown appears to be the focal point of the offense for Miami, constantly being seen in the wildcat formation. He is a solid fantasy Top 15 RB.

-DeAngelo Williams looked electric against Miami, in the rain he put up 40 rushing yards on 8 carries for a TD.

-James Davis looked like the deal for Cleveland. He will see carries this season, question is, how many?

-Nobody looked for in the Pittsburgh-Washington. Only fantasy stud was Santonio Holmes.

-Maurice Jones-Drew is not seeing a lot of carries in the preseason, not sure if that is done on purpose or not.

-Derrick Ward looked much better this week, and should have a good season if he doesn't share carries with Earnest Graham.

-Stash the name Troy Williamson away.

-Marshawn Lynch appears to be poised for a tank season. I think he will vanish from the fantasy radar after this season.

-Ryan Grant posted 12.4 fantasy points in a short amount of time. I personally think he will be a Top 10 fantasy RB in 2009.

-Aaron Rodgers continues to impress, I think he has a shot to be the #2 fantasy QB in the NFL.

-Drew Bress looked good against Houston, as did Matt Schaub.

-Steve Slaton looked better last night. Still cautious though.

-Ahmad Bradshaw is going to drive Brandon Jacobs owners insane.

-Matt Forte looked as dominant as ever last night, putting up 12.7 fantasy points up against a stout Giants defense.

-Glenn Coffee is going to be the biggest handcuff in the NFL this year. That's right, I said it.

-LaDainian Tomlinson is SO over the hill.

-Justin Forsett is rising as a sleeper, and Matt Hasselbeck looks to be back in his pro bowl form

I will be posting live updates on Monday for the Ravens vs. Jets game, another waiver wire will occur Tuesday.
